On the other hand, if the PAN number is not remembered, the e-PAN can be downloaded from the Aadhaar card number. However, for this facility PAN must be linked with Aadhaar. Linking Income Tax Permanent Account Number (PAN) with Aadhaar is no longer free. Now you have to pay a fee of Rs.500 for linking PAN-Adhaar. The special thing is that the opportunity to link with this fee is only this month. After the end of June, PAN-Adhaar Link fees will double.

The following are the conditions for downloading PAN card

Mobile number should be linked with Aadhaar card.

Aadhaar should have a complete date of birth.

E-PAN cannot be downloaded.

If Aadhaar is not linked to PAN, you cannot download e-PAN from the new Income Tax Department website. To do this you must first log in to the portal. Then click on Instant E Pan option. There are a few steps to follow to download e-Pan.

How to download ePan card

First go to incometax.gov.in.

Click ‘Our Services’ at the bottom left.

Click to go to Instant e-PAN.

Now select the new ePain option and enter the Aadhaar number.

Enter OTP on registered mobile number.

Then enter your email ID and click the submit button.

The e-pane will come to the email id. Download it.
