Weather update: Heat wave starts in March, mercury reaches 43.4 degrees in Rajasthan, heatwave alert

Record-breaking heat in Rajasthan
Even in the month of March, people in Rajasthan are worried about the heat. Due to the record heat in the month of March, heat wave has started in most of the districts. According to the Meteorological Department, several districts of Rajasthan have been issued alert for extreme heat and heatwave even today. Heat wave warning has been issued especially in western Rajasthan. Dusty hot winds are expected in the next two days.
Due to this rapidly rising temperature
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in the state is rising rapidly due to hot winds coming from the western region. Banswara and Barmer in Rajasthan are currently experiencing intense heat wave. The maximum temperature recorded in these two districts on March 17 was 43.4 degrees Celsius which is 8 degrees higher than the average temperature. At the same time, apart from Barmer, there are many other districts where the mercury has crossed 40-42 in the month of March.
Yellow alert issued for these districts
The meteorological department said that most parts of Rajasthan are in the grip of hot winds. Yellow alert has been issued for hot weather in several areas like Banswara, Chittorgarh, Dangarpur, Pratapgarh, Bikaner, Jaisalmer and heatwave warning has been issued in March.
