Manab Kaul, who has captivated people with his performances in films like ‘Kai Po Che’, ‘Haider’, ‘Wazir’, ‘Joy Gangajal’, ‘Jolly LLB 2’, is always trying something new. People are enjoying the way Manab Kaul has been portrayed in a short film ‘Kashmir’ released on the occasion of Father’s Day this year.
Picture presented by Terrible Tiny Tales. Sharing the short film on Facebook, Manab himself wrote, ‘After losing Dad, we all tried many times to fill in the unfinished things that happened to him in our lonely corner. And to hear the words that are lost in our little busyness, in the silence between his two sentences. Attempts have been made to settle some of these scattered pieces nicely after they have left. Our short film ‘Kashmir’ is very close.
In this short film, you will see that the human character Vicky is immersed in the show. His father did not live in this world. He knocked his head on the table and then saw his father sitting in front of him. He does not understand what all this is. He is also talking to his father about how he can get here. He denies that he cannot have ghosts because he cannot believe in the existence of ghosts. So he thinks it is not possible to talk to him after his father dies. She feels a lot of noise alone. He thinks I still have to cry, where to go now? That’s when I remembered Kashmir. Then the issues related to the memory of Kashmir with the father started in the mind.
Apart from Manab, Abhijit Dutt and Faisal Batliwala have also acted in this short film. The writer and director of the film is Sugandha Gorg.
