UP code restrictions: Corona cases are on the rise again in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Due to which the government has come into action. Today, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced that face masks must be worn in public places in view of increasing cases of COVID-19 in Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapoor, Meerut, Balandshahr, Baghpat and Lucknow. Health officials in Noida are on high alert as 65 new cases of Kovid 19 were reported in Gautam Budh Nagar district in 24 hours on Monday. According to the report, 19 out of 65 people are students. There are about 332 active cases in the district at present and the positive rate in the areas has also increased to about 15%. Officials are conducting about 1,000 tests a day. In Uttar Pradesh, the number increased by 141% on Monday, with 540 cases reported this week. Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government had said that wearing masks in public places would not be mandatory from April 1. The state government had lifted all COVID-19 restrictions in view of the declining number of COVID-19 cases.

The possibility of a fourth wave of COVID-19, 2183 new cases in 24 hours

Meanwhile, IIT Kanpur professors have claimed that a fourth wave of COVID-19 is likely in India. However, at 27, the weekly COVID tool remained the lowest in 2 years. In India, 2,183 new cases of 19 cases, 214 deaths and 1,985 cases have been cured in 24 hours. The country’s daily covid infections increased by 89.8% on Monday to a total of 1,150 cases.

This comes after a third wave caused by the Omicron variant in January-February, following a steady decline in new coveted cases over the past few weeks. The daily case positivity rate also rose sharply from 0.31% (Sunday) to 0.83% (Monday). The weekly positive rate increased from 0.27% (Sunday) to 0.32 (Monday). The state government of Uttar Pradesh is currently monitoring the situation.
