The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has made it easy for EPF account holders to transfer their Employees Provident Fund (EPF) account from the old employer to the new account through online process. Previously, this was difficult to do because employees had to go to the EPFO office themselves to transfer accounts. However, with the help of technology this process has become much easier.

How to transfer PF account online
Step 1: EPFO Official Website – unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface Go to
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, you need to login with your UAN and password.
Step 3: This will take you to a new page where there will be a link to ‘Online Services’ – click on it and login. Now click on ‘One Member One EPF Account (Transfer Request)’.
Step 4: Now you need to verify the personal details and PF account details of the company you are working for. Click Get Details Now.
Step 5: After clicking, the PF account details of the previous job will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Now you have to select the previous employer or the current employer to verify the forms.
Step 7: Click on –Get OTP option to get OTP on your UAN registered mobile number.
Step 8: Once you have received the OTP – click Submit.
