On Tuesday, a delegation from the Hindi film industry met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed the steps needed to move the film business forward. The delegation that went to meet the Prime Minister included Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi, producer Ritesh Sidhwani, Bhushan Kumar, Rony Screwwala, Siddharth Roy Kapoor and others. Akshay tweeted a picture of the meeting and thanked the Prime Minister for meeting him. Akshay writes: “Sincere thanks to the esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the time to meet us, for listening to us in detail and for assuring us of resolving the urgent issue.”

Apart from Akshay, many other celebrities shared pictures of the meeting on social media with the Prime Minister.
