New Delhi. The High Court has sought reply from the production house on the name of Bollywood director Rohit Sethi’s upcoming film ‘Simba’. A Chhattisgarh-based drinking water company has filed a petition objecting to the name of the film starring Ranbir Singh and Sara Ali Khan.

Justice Pratibha M Singh asked the production house to respond to the company’s notice. The next hearing of the case will be on December 4. According to the gold company, the name of the film is ‘Simba’, where it has been the company’s trademark since 2015. The company deals with a full range of water and non-alcoholic beverages of the same name. In addition, this trademark has been used for a long time in many products.
