Rajkumar Rao will play the role of Dharmendra in the remake of ‘Chupke Chupke’
Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s best film ‘Chupke Chupke’ has recently turned 44 years old. This is one of the best Hindi movies. Now it is going to be rebuilt and Prince Rao has been cast for it. Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore and Jaya Bachchan starred in the 1975 film Chupke Chupke.
The name of the picture has not been decided yet. Bhushan Kumar and Love Ranjan of ‘T-Series’ have decided to do this remake. In this remake, the prince has been taken in the role of Dharmendra. Chupke Chupke Dharmendra played the roles of driver Pare Mohan and Professor Parimal and was replaced by Amitabh Bachchan, who is Professor of English Literature Sukumar Sinha. The film also stars Om Prakash, Usha Kiran, Asrani, Lily Chakraborty, David and Kesh Mukherjee. Rishi Da’s film is not original but was a Hindi version of the 1971 Bengali film Disguise, starring Uttam Kumar and Madhavi Mukherjee.
Prince Rao will have two characters in the remake. The screenplay for the film is currently being written and the director and the rest of the star cast will be finalized soon. However, nowadays, Bhushan Kumar is also doing a remake of 1978’s Pati Patni Or Oh. Starring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjita, the remake is starring Karthik Aryan, Bhoomi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey.
