Punjab: Sensation spread after the news of a suspected rocket falling on the building of Punjab Police Intelligence Office in Mohali. The blast shattered the windows of the building. No casualties were reported in the blast. A large number of police are present on the spot. All top officials, including the SSP and IG, have arrived in the Sohana area after the blast at the intelligence bureau’s office. According to initial reports, a rocket-propelled grenade was hurled at the third floor of the building. Police have evacuated the area and are investigating. According to sources, the police have ruled out the possibility of a terrorist attack.

Mohali police said that a minor explosion took place in the building of intelligence headquarters of Punjab police in Sector 77 at around 7.45 pm. No significant damage was done. Senior officials are on the scene and investigations are ongoing. A forensic team has also been called in to determine the cause of the blast.
