Rudraprayag. With the release of the teaser and poster of the movie ‘Kedarnath’ based on the Kedarnath tragedy, the sound of protest has started rising in Kedarghati. Although there was still a lot of excitement in the valley about the film, the 1.39-minute teaser and poster of the film, along with the release, angered the pilgrims and the locals.

Apart from pilgrims, people associated with the BJP and other organizations also say that making such a film against the backdrop of Kedarnath Dham is highly objectionable.

Pilgrims Srinivas Posti and Jayant Kurvanchali say the teaser and poster of the film, directed by Abhishek Kapoor, tell a different story. In the teaser, on the one hand, Kedarnath Dham is seen being destroyed, on the other hand, the hero-heroine is seen doing a daring scene.

In the teaser, it is written on the screen with scenes of Lord Volenath’s statues, bells, crocodiles, etc., ‘This year we will deal with the ravages of nature and with it will be only love. At this time, the protagonist of the film can be seen praying at a glance. Posti said there would be strong protests if the government did not ban the film.
