PM Kisan 11th Episode 2022: The 11th installment of PM-Kisan Scheme has not been credited to farmers’ accounts yet. Last year, farmers received the April-July installment in their accounts on May 15. The deadline for completing this year’s PM Farmer EKYC is May 31. This process was not mandatory last year. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Saman Nidhi, also known as PM-Kisan, is a centrally sponsored scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote the agricultural sector and help about 125 million farmers across the country. ۔ Under this scheme, small and marginal farmers are provided Rs. 6,000 per annum in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 every four months as minimum income support.
Take a look at the 5 possible reasons for the delay in episode 11.
1. EKYC
Unlike last year, the eKYC process has been made mandatory this year and the deadline to complete it is May 31, which could be a reason for the delay. KYCPM can be done through Kisan Portal.
2. Holding limit
Initially, only farmers with less than 5 acres of land were eligible to receive funds under the scheme. However, it is no longer applicable and all farmers are now eligible. This change may be one of the reasons for the delay.
3. Recovery of money from ineligible beneficiaries
Upon completion of KYC, ineligible beneficiaries will be asked to return the money received under the scheme. Refunds can be made through PM Kisan Porta.
4. Changes in farmer credit cards
The Kisan Credit Card Scheme is a scheme of the Government of India which provides timely loans to farmers. This scheme has been linked with PM Kisan Yojana. Through this scheme, farmers can get a loan of Rs. 3 lakhs at an interest rate of 4% per annum.
5. Remove paperwork
To make this process easier, the government has reduced the need for physical certification. Instead, farmers can use their Aadhaar card to register for the scheme at home.
