Nissan Magnet launches in India at Rs 4.99 lakh, becoming the most affordable compact SUV

New Delhi: After a long wait, Nissan India has launched their Nissan Magnet in India. The company has set an initial Delhi ex-showroom price of Rs 4.99 lakh for its new subcompact SUV in the Indian market, which goes up to Rs 9.35 lakh in its top end variants. These are the entrance fees, which are available only to customers who have booked before December 31, 2020. Built on the new Magnite CMF-A + platform where Renault Triber operates.

Nissan has launched its Magnite in four trims. These include XE, XL, XV and XV premium. In it, customers will have the option to choose from 20 different grades. Here customers can choose the trim and model of their choice based on the engine, transmission and optional features.

Nissan Magnet: 1.0 petrol
XE variant – Rs. 4,99,000
XL variant – Rs. 5,99,000
XV variant – Rs. 6,68,000
XV Premium variant – Rs. 7,55,000

All Delhi ex-showroom prices
Earlier, Nissan revealed the ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of all its magnet engines. Accordingly, a 5-speed manual transmission with a turbo engine will get a mileage of 20 kilometers per liter. At the same time, customers will get 17.7 kmpl mileage on its CVT model.

Nissan Magnet is available in two petrol engines in India. These include the 1.0-liter and 1.0-liter turbo petrol units. Its 1.0 liter petrol engine will generate a maximum of 71 bhp of power and 96 Nm of peak torque. At the same time, its 1.0-liter turbo petrol unit will generate a maximum of 99 bhp of power and 160 Nm of peak torque. Both engines will get a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the turbo petrol unit will also get the option of an optional CVT automatic unit, which will produce 152 Nm of torque.
