New LPG cylinder prices. State-owned oil companies update prices on the first day of each month to estimate gas cylinder prices. Today is the 1st of October and while the oil companies have given relief in the prices of domestic gas cylinders, the first day of October has been a big blow to the prices of commercial gas cylinders. Oil companies have hiked LPG cylinder prices since October 1. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has increased the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder by up to Rs 43.5 per cylinder. In Delhi, the price of a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has gone up from Rs 1693 to Rs 1736.5 per cylinder.
The price of LPG cylinder has not changed without subsidy.
Besides, no increase has been made in the prices of subsidized LPG cylinders without 14.2 kg. In Delhi, a 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder costs Rs 884.50. Last month, in September, oil companies had increased the price of domestic LPG cylinders by Rs 25. The price of 14.2 kg cylinder without subsidy is Rs 911 per cylinder in Kolkata, Rs 884.50 in Mumbai and Rs 900.50 per cylinder in Chennai.
