CoVID-19 cases: Rising cases of Corona in the country have once again raised the concern of the Ministry of Health. Corona cases have been on the rise for the past two weeks, prompting fears of a fourth wave. The number of corona cases is rising alarmingly, especially in some states. The Union Ministry of Health on Thursday wrote to states asking them to strengthen surveillance of corona and take appropriate precautionary measures to curb the spread of the infection. Central Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to all the States / Centrally Administered Territories saying that the States / Centrally Administered Territories should continue to work on the progress made so far to control the epidemic situation.

The health ministry has issued special warnings to four states and directed Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi and Karnataka to remain vigilant. In a letter to the states, the Union Health Secretary said, “The last two weeks have seen an increase in Corona cases. The weekly positive rate has increased from 0.63% to 1.12%.

What is the current situation of Corona?

In the last 24 hours, 7,240 new cases of Corona have been reported in the country, of which 81% have been reported from the four states of Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi and Karnataka. This is the highest jump in the number of cases per day since March 2. On Wednesday, there was a daily increase of about 41% in the number of cases of Quaid 19 in India.
