Meghna Gulzar will make a web series about the life of Rakesh Maria
Anil D Ambani and Meghna Gulzar, owners of Reliance Entertainment’s Phantom Films, have teamed up to create an original series based on the professional life of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria.
It is rumored that after ‘Razi’, Meghna will make a film about Rakesh Maria’s experience and her entire career in this series. The series will be based on its various case files. Let us know that IPS officer Rakesh Maria passed the civil service examination from 1981 batch. As Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) in 1993, he solved the Bombay Series bombing case. He later became the DCP (Crime) of Mumbai Police and later became the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime).
Maria also solved the 2003 Gateway of India and Xavier Bazar twin blast cases. Maria was also tasked with investigating the 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008 and the only surviving terrorist, Ajmal Kasab, was interrogated and the case was successfully investigated.
