Maharashtra Nagar Panchayat Elections The results of the Maharashtra Nagar Panchayat elections were announced on Wednesday, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) becoming the largest party, winning 384 out of 1,649 seats. On Wednesday, Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil claimed that his party had emerged as the largest political force in the state and could lead 24 Nagar Panchayats. The State Election Commission announced the results on Wednesday evening, with the BJP winning 384 seats and the NCP 344 seats. According to the Election Commission, the Congress has won 316 seats, while the Shiv Sena is in fourth place with only 284 seats.

206 independent candidates won.

In these election results, 206 independent candidates have also won. The Election Commission has said that counting of votes in 9 Nagar Panchayats of Gadcharoli district will take place on Thursday. In Maharashtra, BJP president Chandrakant Patil has said that elections were held for 106 Nagar Panchayats in the state, in all of which the BJP has so far won more than 400 seats. We are in a strong position to lead the 24 municipal bodies and we will need the support of some councilors. Patil said that despite being out of power for almost 26 months, the BJP had won a landslide victory.

The Congress has won 23 seats in four Nagar Panchayats of Latur.

In the four Nagar Panchayats of Latur district, the Congress has won 23 out of 68 seats, while the NCP and BJP have won 14 seats each. Voting took place in 68 seats of 4 Nagar Panchayats of Latur district. Each Nagar Panchayat had 17 seats. The votes of Chakur, Sherwar Anantpal and Jalkot and Devinagar panchayats were counted on Wednesday. The Congress has won most of the seats in Jalkot and Dewani.
