The activists of the organization had been chanting Hanuman Chalisa in protest against loudspeakers from mosques since 5 am on Monday. Shri Ram Sena founder Pramod Mathalak had announced to broadcast Hindu mantra on loudspeaker to counter the call to prayer. Various Hindu organizations supported it. Matalak had warned that if the Karnataka government did not stop the call to prayer on loudspeakers, they would play Hanuman Chalisa on the speaker. Matalak announced the launch of the movement on May 9.

Matalak had said, “Despite the notice given to mosques by the government, no one has complied with the orders of the Supreme Court.” From May 9, Hanuman Chalisa will be spoken at 5 am in more than 1000 temples across the state. Was cited.

At the same time, the Karnataka government has said it will take phased action against the loudspeaker. The government has said on several occasions that the law is being followed and action is being taken in accordance with the rules of the Supreme Court.
