Jamshedpur: Blast at Tata Steel plant in Jamshedpur, huge fire, gas leakage, 2 workers injured
Jamshedpur Live: News of explosion at Tata Steel plant in Jamshedpur. The blast took place in the battery chamber No. 5, 6 and 7 of the coal plant. Two employees were reported injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Chaos ensued after the blast. Large-scale fires erupted and gas leaks began. Upon receiving the information, senior officials rushed to the spot and further efforts were made to extinguish the fire. The cause of the accident could not be ascertained.
