Jammu and Kashmir: Mother Vaishno Devi’s natural cave opens after a year for devotees

Katra: After almost a year, the doors of the natural cave of Mother Vaishno Devi were opened for the devotees on Wednesday. Devotees will be able to visit Mother Vaishno Devi by crossing natural caves. The natural cave will be open for a few days. Due to the small number of devotees, the cave was opened every winter, but this time it was not possible due to Corona.

It is believed that the cave was opened every year on the occasion of Capricorn. This year too it was opened but only for worship and not for devotees due to the Corona epidemic. Fans were not allowed to visit. Then on Wednesday, when the number of fans reached about six thousand, it was decided to open. However, there is no official information about how long the cave will remain open.

Six thousand fans came on Wednesday
Shrine Board CEO Ramesh Kumar said that by Wednesday evening, 6,000 devotees had gone to the Bhavan to pay homage to Mother Vaishno Devi. So far this year, 5.17 lakh devotees have come to the court of mother Vaishno Devi.
