The new release date of Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra’s film ‘Jabriya Jodi’ has been fixed. The film will be released on August 2. It is directed by Prashant Singh and produced by Ekta Kapoor. This picture has been made for a long time. The shooting of the film started in August last year in Lucknow. That’s when its first look was published. Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Malhotra look cool in this look, while the groom’s face is bandaged in the chair. Siddharth Malhotra was also seen taking selfies with his mobile phone in hand.

The story of the film is from Bihar. The film is based on ‘Pakdoa Shaadi’, where the boy is forcibly married. The special thing is that this is the first time Siddhartha will be seen playing a Bhojpuri character and for this he has taken complete training in Bhojpuri language and he is also working hard for it. He also took training to speak Bhojpuri in the same movie. The name was earlier changed to ‘Shotgun Shaadi’ but was later changed. Earlier, discussions were going on with Shraddha Kapoor for this film but since they did not have a date. So the picture went to Parineeti’s book.

The film will be a Rome-less and it is set against the backdrop of Bihar. He further said that many interesting aspects of the story of the film will be brought to the notice of the people. For now, he can’t tell the story in detail. However, he said for sure that the entire shooting of the film will be done in Lucknow, the whole Bihar will be made in Lucknow. This is director Prashant Singh’s first film. Prashant Anand has acted in many films as an assistant to El Rai.
