IRCTC Tour Package: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has come up with an affordable tour package for Nepal. This 6 day and 5 night journey will start from Lucknow. During the visit, Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, Budhanath Stupa, Darbar Square, Mankamana Temple in Pokhara, Vindhya Vasini Temple, Guptishore Mahadev Cave will be visited. The tour package will start on June 19 and run until June 24. The package will include flights from Lucknow to Kathmandu and back to Lucknow. In this package, IRCTC will arrange air travel, accommodation and meals in 3 star hotels.

How much to pay?

You will have to pay Rs. 48,500 per person for this air tour. Also, the package costs Rs. 39,000 per person for simultaneous booking of two persons and Rs. 38,850 per person for simultaneous booking of three persons.

Bookings for this tour package can be made online at the IRCTC website www.irctctourism.com. On the other hand, bookings can be made through IRCTC Tourist Facilitation Center, Zonal Offices and Regional Offices.

IRCTC Chief Regional Manager (Lucknow) Ajit Kumar Sinha said that under this package, people will fly to Kathmandu from Amausi Airport. He said that under this tour package, people going to Nepal will be taken to other places including Pashupatinath Temple, Buddha Stupa, Darbar Square and Pokhara. Sinha further said that considering the reaction of the people to this blunt package, many more packages from Lucknow to Nepal will be launched in the future.
