International Yoga Day 2022 Preparations are in full swing across the country for the upcoming International Yoga Day to be celebrated on June 21. Enthusiasm is being raised by various organizations and individuals through various activities before celebrating this important day. In this episode, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) soldiers have set a great record and worked to bring the significance of this day to the notice of all.
In celebration of International Yoga Day, ITBP on Monday posted several photos from its official handle on the Ku app, the country’s first multilingual microblogging platform. In these pictures, ITBP youths wearing red jackets are seen doing yoga on the top of the mountain.
The ITBP wrote in the post, “New record for high-altitude yoga practice by ITBP. On the eve of the 8th International Yoga Day, ITBP climbers practiced yoga at an altitude of 22,850 feet near Mount Abi Gaman in Uttarakhand. Practiced and set a unique record with the theme: ‘Yoga for Humanity’.
