If you have more sex, does the vagina become loose? Find out information and myths related to it

Mumbai: The vagina is a part of the body that is very flexible. It doesn’t take long to get back to the old shape. But there are many falsehoods associated with vaginal relaxation in our society. It is commonly said and believed that women who have too much sex have problems with their vaginal relaxation. But that is not true. Sex has nothing to do with vaginal relaxation.

Then why the vagina becomes loose? There may be some reasons behind this. But before that, you need to understand what it means to have a loose vagina.

What the vagina is loose
First, it is important to understand that the vagina is made up of a variety of muscles that are very flexible. Even after a big stretch they come back to their original shape.

The muscles that surround the vagina are called the pelvic floor muscles. With age, they begin to loosen, which is why women do not feel the same tension during sexual intercourse.

Is too much sex responsible for this?
When a woman is sexually aroused, her vaginal muscles expand automatically. They help penetration. During foreplay these muscles slowly relax. After sexual intercourse, these muscles return to their full size.

Penetrative sex does not change a woman’s body. There is no evidence that it loosens muscles.

What could be the reason for giving birth to a child?
During pregnancy, every woman’s body goes through many ups and downs. The body changes even after delivery.
These changes may be:
– Swelling of feet and toes
– Weight gain or loss
– Changing breast size
– Stretch marks on the skin

During normal delivery, the vaginal muscles expand widely. It may take some time for them to return to normal. After childbirth, the vagina feels different than before.

Some women even say that they have noticed a difference in the flexibility of their vagina after giving birth. But over time, that is likely to change.

The vagina may feel loose or uncomfortable even if the skin and tissues are broken during delivery.

Growing age can be a big factor
Many changes take place in the body with age. The skin and muscles gradually begin to lose their elasticity. The vaginal muscles also begin to weaken, so they feel relaxed.

During menopause, when a woman’s body undergoes many changes, the levels of the hormone estrogen decrease. It causes dryness in the vagina and makes intercourse difficult. Then lubricant can be used for this problem.
