All the 12 devotees killed in the stampede at Shri Mata Vishnu Devi Bhavan have been identified. Meanwhile, the state’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has announced Rs 1 million for the families of the devotees killed in the accident and Rs 2 lakh for the injured. Twelve pilgrims killed in the stampede have been identified in the building. Meanwhile, the lieutenant governor has ordered an investigation to find out the cause of the accident. At the same time, Rs 10 lakh has been announced for the families of the deceased and Rs 2 lakh for the injured. Most of the dead and injured pilgrims were from Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. The injured devotees have been admitted to Narayan Hospital, Katra. The accident took place near gate number three of the building. At that time the building was full of devotees of Mata. Devotees used to come from outside the covered room a few blocks away from the police post. The road on which this accident took place is very narrow. There was so much crowd that the devotees could not move forward.
