High Protein Breakfast Recipe: Make delicious-spongy mug dal idli

Mumbai: Protein is very important for the body, it keeps you fit and builds your muscles and keeps your hair and face young. Today we are going to tell you about a high protein breakfast, by which you can not only enhance the taste of the tongue but also meet the daily requirement of protein intake to keep yourself healthy. Today we have come up with the recipe of Mug Dal Idli. So let’s quickly know the recipe.

Materials:
Divide mug dal – 2 cups
Oil or ghee
Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Cumin – 1 tsp
Mustard – 1 tsp
Soaked lentils – 2 teaspoons
Raw pepper – 2
Curry leaves – 7 to 8
Ginger- 2 inches
Salt- to taste
Cashews – 7 to 8
The pinch hing / hing
Carrots – 1 medium

Instructions:
First soak the mug dal for 2 hours. Then grind in a mixer and add yoghurt. In a pan fry in oil with mustard, cumin, chana dal, green chillies and crushed ginger till golden brown. Now add the carrots and fry for about 2 minutes. Turn off the gas and mix mug dal bata in it and turn off the gas with hing and coriander leaves.

Now add 1 teaspoon of Ino Fruit Salt and mix lightly. Now grease the idli maker with oil and pour the bata and steam for 15 minutes. Your healthy breakfast idli is ready. Serve with chutney or hot sambar.
