Later, PM Johnson also visited the famous Akshardham temple in Gujarat and posed for pictures with the priests there. Prime Minister Johnson arrived in India on Thursday morning. He was received at Ahmedabad Airport by Governor Acharya Devvart and Chief Minister Bhupinder Patel. The British Prime Minister’s visit is believed to be aimed at strengthening ties with India and removing trade barriers.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson also met business tycoon Gautam Adani during his visit to Gujarat. Commenting on his visit, Gautam Adani tweeted that he had the honor of hosting the first UK Prime Minister to visit Adani headquarters. Gautam Adani also added the Atmanirbhar Bharat hashtag in his tweet and said that we will work closely with British companies in the field of defense and aerospace technology.
