The last rites of Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat will be performed at Barab Square, Delhi Cantt. He will also be saluted with 17 cannons. During this time, 800 soldiers will also give him the last salute.

Earlier in the morning, many celebrities arrived to pay their last respects to CDS Rawat. Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived early in the morning to pay his respects. The bodies of the late CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat were brought to their residence in a helicopter crash.
