Mumbai CINTAA has expelled actor Alok Nath from the association. The association also issued a statement on Twitter in this regard. Binta Nanda, the writer and producer of ‘Tara’ serial, filed a sexual harassment complaint against him a month ago after 19 years. Alok Nath has denied the allegations and has filed a defamation suit against Binta Nanda. Since both were members of CINTAA, the association sent a letter to Alok Nath to represent him. On Tuesday, the association tweeted about his removal. The association tweeted, “Alok Nath has been charged with several counts of sexual harassment and abuse.

With these considerations in mind, the Senate Executive Committee has decided to expel him from the Association. On the other hand, Ashok Pandit, a member of CINTAA, said, “If a victim complains to us, we stand by him as a member of the federation.” This time too we have done so.
