Demand for revocation of Samajwadi Party’s identity, petition against Akhilesh Yadav in Supreme Court, know the whole matter

UP Election 2022: The Samajwadi Party, led by Akhilesh Yadav, which is contesting the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, may face difficulties. BJP leader and Supreme Court lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking revocation of the Samajwadi Party’s identity. Ashwini Upadhyay says that Akhilesh Yadav has given ticket to Naheed Hassan from Kirana, on whom other criminal cases including gangster act have been registered. In this way, Akhilesh Yadav has violated the order of the Supreme Court, which has said not to give tickets to criminals. Ashwini Upadhyay demands that the Samajwadi Party’s identity be revoked and that a case be filed against Akhilesh Yadav. The petition will be heard on Tuesday.
According to Ashwini Upadhyay, the Supreme Court in its order issued in 2018 and again in 2020 had said that no political party would give tickets to criminals. Once the ticket is issued, information about the case against him will be published on electronic media, print media and social media. Akhilesh Yadav has violated the order of the Supreme Court by giving ticket to Naheed Hassan on behalf of RLD-SP alliance.
