Police later arrested several BJP leaders and activists. On the other hand, the police of the two states have also come face to face in this matter. The Punjab police vehicle carrying Tejinder Baga was stopped at Crookshetra in Haryana and then brought back by Delhi Police. The case reached the court
Meanwhile, Punjab Police filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court against the attitude of Haryana Police. When the High Court sought a reply from the Haryana government on the matter, Haryana said it had stopped the Punjab police after receiving a message from the Delhi police. The Haryana government will file an affidavit on the matter on Saturday. At the same time, the High Court has rejected the Punjab government’s demand that Baga be kept with the Haryana Police till the hearing of the case and not be sent to Delhi.
On the matter, Delhi Police said that Punjab Police had not informed Delhi Police about the arrest. When Tajinder Baga’s father lodged a kidnapping complaint, Delhi Police obtained a search warrant from Dwarka court and launched a search, when it was found out that he was being taken away by Punjab Police. Delhi Police stopped him and brought back Tajinder Baga. No Punjab police officer was arrested or arrested.
Delhi Police took Baga back, further action will be taken. We have not arrested or detained anyone from Punjab Police. They did not inform the Delhi Police before arresting him and took him into custody. The case will be heard tomorrow at 10 am: ASG Satyapal Jain pic.twitter.com/ZbXGPA0REM
