According to the latest COVID-19 update released by the Ministry, the country has a daily positivity rate of 1.03% and a weekly positivity rate of 0.84%. The daily positivity rate has suddenly increased by 7% compared to the previous day. This is the first time since March 11 that so many new patients have arrived in one day. This is being seen as a possibility of a fourth COVID wave in some parts of the country. Cases have risen again in Maharashtra. Here the government has issued an alert that if people do not follow other laws, including wearing masks, then restrictions like lockdown can be imposed.
