Mumbai: World Food Day is being celebrated all over the world today. Food choices have changed around the world during Corona. In the past, when the public was obsessed with junk food, non-veg and packaged foods, the fear of corona attracted the world to foods that boosted immunity. Let’s find out what kind of food the world has chosen in the Corona era.

Balanced diet
Do not target those whose immune system is weak. In this case, eating more of the world’s foods to prevent coronary heart disease increases immunity. And this can only be achieved through a balanced diet. Freshly cooked food was taken and packaged food people avoided to keep themselves healthy.

No to restaurant food
The coronavirus lockdown forced restaurants to close. People had to cook at home. Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals.

People have also avoided non-vegetarian food for fear of corona. Fearing corona infection, the public has turned away from nonveg and tended to vegetarian food. It was a great thing that people in European countries also showed more interest in eating vegetarian. The use of green fresh vegetables has increased.

Ayurveda adopted
People have made Ayurvedic system a part of their diet. The use of spices has increased and people have tried to increase their immunity by consuming spices like cumin, parsley, garlic. India’s Ministry of AYUSH also appealed to the public to drink hot water, strengthen the body and make spice decoctions like garlic, ginger, cumin against corona.
