Censors complain about ‘Sanju’ toilet scene, case may go to court

A complaint has been lodged with the Censor Board regarding a scene shown in the trailer of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju directed by Rajkumar Hirani. An organization called ‘Sangharsh’ has written a letter to the censor board protesting against Sanju’s ‘toilet scene’.
In fact, according to the trailer, there will be a scene in the movie when the main character (Sanjay Dutt has become Ranbir Kapoor) is in jail and there is all the dirt coming out of the toilet, which scares him. There are allegations that the prison administration has been misrepresented in this scenario. In a letter to Prasoon Joshi, chairman of the censor board, Prithvi Musk, president of the organization, said that the toilet overflow scene shown in the trailer was incorrect as no such incident had been reported from any jail. Administration. The issue did not come up. Such a scenario would paint a picture of poor maintenance of the country’s prisons to the world.
“If the censor board does not take action, the organization will be forced to go to court and we will demand suspension of the film,” the letter said. There is also a demand for apology by omitting this scene from the film. The letter has also been sent to producer Bidhu Binod Chopra, director Rajkumar Hirani and actor Ranbir Kapoor.
The movie Sanju, based on the life of Sanjay Dutt, talks about the good and bad days of this actor. The photo shows her taking drugs, holding a weapon during the Mumbai bombings and all the love affair.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala and Vicky Kaushal. The film will be released on June 29.
