Box Office: 'Vayaji Superhit' has made so much money over the weekend

Sunny Deol’s film ‘Vayaji Super Hit’ has gotten a little better than ‘Badhai Ho’ over the weekend. Released six weeks ago, ‘Badhai Ho’ grossed Rs 4 crore in three days, while the film, which started this Friday, grossed Rs 4.30 crore. This picture of Sunny is on the way to flop. The image has been panned by critics. The hit ‘Vayaji Super Hit’ hits theaters on 23rd November. On the first day, the film is expected to earn at least one and a half crore, but the film can earn only around one crore. On the second day, ‘Vayaji Super Hit’ got ₹ 1.10 crore. On the third day, on Sunday, it received two crore rupees.

‘Badhai Ho’ is still being preferred in multiplexes. So the makers of ‘Vayaji Super Hit’ expected from single screen theaters, but looking at the collection, it seems that there are not many fans of ‘Vayaji Super Hit’ here either. In this action comedy film, Sunny plays a Don who wants to be a movie star. Preity Zinta as his wife, and Amisha Patel as a film star. The film stars Arshad Warsi as the director and Shreyas Talpade as Vaijay’s collaborator.

Last week (November 16) came Sunny’s ‘Mahalla Aasi’, which got an opening of just ₹ 25 lakhs. Compared to that, ‘Vayaji Super Hit’ is doing better. By the way, these two pictures of Sunny have been waiting for release for a long time. Earlier, the Deol family’s film ‘Yamla Pagla Diwana Phir’ did not do well at the box office. The film grossed ₹ 7.25 crore in its first weekend, but could collect only ₹ 10 crore for a lifetime.

Business is not expecting much from ‘Viaji Super Hit’ and it is claimed that the movie will not last more than a week in theaters. There is a possibility of only 3-5 crore rupees in the opening weekend. If we look at Sunny’s career over the last 5 years, she has failed miserably at the box office.

Sunny’s film ‘Singh Sahab The Great’, which came out in 2013, grossed ₹ 16.25 crore in the opening weekend and Lifetime Collection ₹ 36 crore. The picture was average. Yamla Pagla Diwana 2, which was released the same year, collected ₹ 23 crores in its opening weekend, where the film also averaged ₹ 36.80 crores.

Diskiaun, which came out in 2014, grossed ₹ 3.60 million in its opening weekend and was a flop, raising ₹ 6 million. The film is produced by Shilpa Sethi and re-released by Harman Baweza.

‘Wounded Once Again’, which was released in 2016, collected ₹ 23.25 crore in the opening weekend, while the film was at a loss with a lifetime collection of ₹ 40 crore. It was a sequel to ‘Ghayal’ and was directed by Sunny herself.

In 2017, Sunny Deol appeared in ‘Poster Boys’. The film had ₹ 7.25 crore in its opening weekend and flopped, collecting Rs 11.20 crore. Sunny was accompanied by her brother Bobby Deol in this film. Shreyas made his directorial debut with the film Talpade.
