Be careful if you watch dirty videos on your mobile phone, otherwise you could run into big problems.

Mumbai – Users watching smartphones on smartphones should be wary, as such users have become the easiest target for hackers. Compared to 2018, the number of cyber attacks related to mobile porn has doubled in the last year. To lure users into their prey, hackers use popular porn-related tags.

According to a report, in 2019, the number of mobile porn users and related threats increased to 42,973, from just 19,699 in 2018. According to antivirus Kaspersky, the incidence of pornographic cyber attacks on personal computers decreased by 40 percent between 2018 and 2019. The research firm says that adult content is as popular as entertainment or other content for supplying malware or viruses to devices.

Due to the Corona epidemic lockdown, many users are at home this year, and the number of viewers on the adult content platform has increased significantly. It also increases the threat to user security and hackers can take advantage of it. Researchers have identified a number of files that entice users into the form of installation packages for the Android OS, including fake porn videos and adult content.

The database is accessed using 200 popular porn tags. Researchers found that 105 tags were used in 2018 and 99 in 2019. This means that cybercriminals do not use all porn tags to hack users’ devices.

Dmitry Gallov, a security researcher at Kaspersky, said: We have seen that the distribution of PC malware has been declining in recent times and the distribution of mobile malware is increasing rapidly.

Most advertising software is used to prey on users. Researchers say hackers lure users to view mobile porn through their advertising software and redirect them to unwanted pages. Seven of the top-10 porn-related cyber attacks in 2019 fall into this category. Good luck
