Ayushman’s ‘Badhai Ho’ made a splash at the box office, earning so much in four days
‘Badhai Ho’ starring Mumbai’s Ayushman Khurana and Sania Malhotra has won the hearts of the audience. The film rocked the box office. In four days, the film has grossed over Rs 45 crore.
Badhai Ho, directed by Amit Rabindranath Sharma, was released on Thursday, October 18. The film grossed Rs 45.06 crore at the domestic box office over a four-day weekend. The film has collected 13 crore 50 lakh rupees. Sunday. Which is about 90 lakh rupees more than 12 crore 60 lakh rupees on Saturday. It is the story of the film and the result of the great performance of the actors that the film has earned this and that too when there is a theater strike in Madhya Pradesh. The film has opened at Rs 8 crore 29 lakh.
Badhai Ho is a family comedy drama and the story is quite different, where a boy may go on the path of marriage knowing that his parents are going to be parents again i.e. the mother is pregnant. The son is played by Ayushman Khurana and the mother is Nina Gupta. Wrestler Sania Malhotra is Ayushman’s lover. Gajraj Rao has played the role of father.
The film cost Rs 25 crore, of which Rs 7 crore was for promotion. The film has been released on more than a thousand screens across the country.
Notably, Ayushman Khurana’s film ‘Andhadhun’ earned Rs 15 crore in its first weekend. His film Shubh Mangal Zayada Sabdhan collected Rs 14 crore 46 lakh in the first three days. Bareilly Ki Barfi got Rs 11 crore 52 lakh in the first weekend. Sania Malhotra’s last film ‘Patakha’ has collected Rs 3 crore 60 lakh in the first three days.
