Ayushman Khurana has completed the shooting of the soon to be released movie “Article 15” in just 30 days. The team led by director Anubhav Sinha did not take much break during the shooting schedule. After watching Anubhav Sinha’s last released ‘Mulak’, Ayushman was keen to work with him and after hearing the story of “Article 15” he became interested in working on it. Let us tell you that Ayushman Khurana has still captivated critics and audiences alike throughout her career with her selection of films and great performances.
Ayushman is playing the role of a police officer in “Article 15”. The film manages to entertain as well as inform. The G Studios film was being shot in Lucknow, so the actor arrived in the capital of Uttar Pradesh ahead of schedule to get a deeper understanding of his character. The story is based on real life events and director Anubhav Sinha was keen to keep it as authentic as possible. That is why the film was shot in a real location. Keeping in mind the sensitivity of the film, Ayushman also shot his part in about a month.
The film ‘Article 15’ is ready for its world premiere at the 10th edition of the London Indian Film Festival. The London Indian Film Festival is considered to be the biggest festival in South Asia and this investigative drama will be the opening night film. The film also stars Isha Talwar, M Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub. ‘Article 15’ is set to be released this week June 28th.
