Article 15 Box Office: Ayushman’s film did well on the second Friday
‘Article 15’ earned about Rs 2.65 crore on the eighth day. We tell you that on the first Friday it got Rs 5.02 crore, in that sense it is a good income. We tell you that what the film is earning now is net profit. Even in the face of such a big movie, it continues to earn. Now we have to face ‘Spiderman’ this week too. Its total income is now Rs 36.86 crore.
We tell you that on Thursday it earned Rs 3.05 crore. In the first week, its income was not less than three crores. It received Rs 3.48 crore on Wednesday. It earned Rs 3.67 crore on Tuesday. On Monday, the film managed to earn Rs 3.97 crore. The fall was less than 50 percent compared to Sunday. Released on Friday, the film had 5.02 crore openings on its first day. On Saturday, its revenue increased to Tk 6.25 crore. India and England had a cricket match on Sunday, yet it did well and pocketed Rs 7.75 crore.
If we calculate the run for two weeks, it seems to be close to 50 crores. Producer-director Anubhav Sinha is going to be quite happy with this earning. Ayushman is in the role of a police officer in ‘Article 15’. This is the second hit film of Ayushman Khurana this year. This year, he presented the hit film ‘Badhai Ho’. The subject is completely different and Ayushman Khurana has played a completely different role. Speaking of first day earnings, it was Ayushman Khurana’s second best opening. Leading the way is Badhaai Ho, released this year, which grossed Rs 7.35 crore on its first day. After ‘Mulk’, director Anubhav Sinha showed another surprise. Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub and Sayani Gupta have also been acclaimed for their performances with Ayushman. Released on very limited screens, now it occupies less space.
